Happy Mind Right Tuesday! I know, I know it's supposed to be Mind Right Monday. But, better late than never, right?

I am so tired lol. Last week was such a long week! Between trying to keep up with the goals I set for myself and planning a surprise birthday party for my sister in law, I’m still trying to recoup from the weekend. My husband, his aunt, and I threw my sister-in-law a surprise 90’s birthday party at our house, and she absolutely loved it!

The party was a success, but LOTS of work! Lots of cleaning, decorating, cooking, getting things in order, making sure the music was just right, etc… I was pooped after it was all said and done! All I can say is thank God for His grace…last week was a lot of work!

It was just really great seeing family and friends come together for a good ole’ time. All the dancing, the laughs, jokes, etc… It was a lot of fun!

I did okay with my goals last week. I could have done a lot better, but it was just so much going on last week with planning the party. WHEW, I’m glad that’s over!

Goals from Last Week
  • Have some quiet time with the Lord (Done! I find it’s easier to get some time in with God in the morning when I go into work since I’m the only one there for a good hour. Perfect time for prayer and worship!)
  • Workout at least 3 day (EPIC FAIL! I did nan workout last week. This week I’m getting it together!)
  • Drink more water (I think I could have drank a bit more water. I’m going for 64 ounces a day
  • Get as much school work as possible done before the weekend (I got some stuff done, and other things just didn’t get done. *shrugs* It happens sometimes, but this week things need to get done before the weekend since this weekend is my birthday weekend (turning 23 on Sunday!) and I plan on doing absolutely nothing school related
  • Blog at least two times a week (Fail! I blogged once and that was a Mind Right Monday post!)
  • No more eating out (Fail! We ate out once last week when we had some company over. Not bad considering how much we’ve been eating out the past two months…Sometimes its 2-3 times a week!)

This Week’s Goals:
  • Have some quiet time with the Lord
  • Drink 64 ounces of water a day
  • Exercise at least three times a week
  • Blog at least two times
  • Complete school assignments before the weekend
  • Cook at least three times this week

I’m grateful for God, His grace, my husband, family, love, and sleep J!

Life | Mind Right Monday

It’s time for Mind Right Monday! I decided to join some of the fabulous ladies from the BLM Girls group, Darrica of Dear Darrica, Dani from Ok, Dani, and Danielle from Mamademics in their weekly link up group that they host every week on their blogs. I LOVE my BLM Girls—such a wealth of information, tips, advice, support, and encouragement across the board from the women in this group, and I’m very grateful to be a part of such an amazing group of women.
So what is Mind Right Monday?

Basically, we share our goals for the week and what were thankful for to start the week. It helps keep you accountable, and provides encouragement and motivation for other ladies participating in the link up group. I have not been as productive as I need to be AT ALL. It’s about time I get it together.
Last week was pretty overwhelming for me and I didn’t get much done. But, God's grace abounds in the midst of the storm and in deepest waters. Thank God for grace!

On to the goals!
